During the BETA sign-up period Kanjidou is completely free — you can keep using it after the 30-day period, with no subscription required.
## When a Payment Fails
If a payment fails due to an expired card, insufficient funds, or a similar issue, your account status will change to **"Payment Failed (past_due)"** and a "Update Payment Method" notice will appear on your home screen.
- Open the Stripe portal via "Manage Subscription" in the account menu, and update to a valid card.
- Once the payment is successfully processed, you will be able to continue using the app as normal.
