## When a Payment Fails If a payment fails — an expired card, insufficient funds, or something similar — your account status changes to "Payment Failed (past_due)", and a "Update payment" notice appears both in the menu behind the account icon in the top right corner and on your home screen. ### How to update it 1. Tap the account icon in the top right corner (your initials, or a person symbol) and choose "Update payment" in the menu (the "Update" button in the notice on your home screen leads to the same place). 2. On the page that opens, press "Update payment method" to go to the Stripe payment screen, and enter a valid card. 3. Once the payment goes through, everything continues as before.
