## Showing or Hiding Furigana (Ruby Text) You can choose whether to show or hide the furigana (ruby text) displayed above kanji characters. 1. Open the settings page by tapping **"⚙ Settings"** in the bottom-right corner of the learner's dashboard. 2. Under the **"Furigana (Ruby Text)"** option, select **"Show"** or **"Hide"**. This setting is saved in your browser. This means it applies to all learners using the same device and browser, but can be set independently on different devices or browsers. If you reset your browser settings, the option will return to its default value (Show). Please note that furigana appears on the screens your child (the learner) uses for quizzes and study activities. Pages intended mainly for parents — such as this help page and announcements (blog posts) — **do not include furigana by design**, as plain text is easier for adults to read.
